Salvatore Scarpati, age 85, of North Bergen, NJ passed away on January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Jeannine (nee Bussinelli). Devoted Father of Robert A.(Jessica) and Richard P.(Teresa). Dear Brother of Anna Fiorentino and Silvio Scarpati. Loving Grandfather of 4 Grandchildren.
Salvatore was born in Sorrento, Italy and has lived in North Bergen for the past 54 years. He retired from Republic Container Corp. in Jersey City where he was an Electrician.
Visiting Hours on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, North Bergen. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. In lieu of Flowers, the Family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 60E. 42nd St. #2240, NY,NY 10165 or (646) 418-4466.
