Querida Mima, I will miss your presence and the kindness you have always shown me. I have missed the times we spent enjoying holidays feasting and laughing and having a good time, it's been a while since the last and now they will be no more. Mima. Not Clotilde, not Mrs. Milian… Mima. That’s what she was called by her family and by those who were close enough to call her family. She was always Mima to me. She is my family. From the first day I met her to eternity, she will always be Mima. Neither of us spoke a common language fluently, but we sure did know how to communicate with each other. Through gestures, laughs, my feeble attempt at spanish and most of all, with hand holding, smiles and hugs. She is a gem which is now a bright light in the sky looking over her beautiful children and their families.
Mima... me, Elias and Matthew love you very much. You will always be in our hearts.
Rest in peace beautiful angel.
