Antonia Rerecich, passed away on August 18, 2024 in the comfort of her home with her husband Bruno, in Elmwood Park, NJ. She was born in 1944. Antonia’s life began in her hometown of Susak, Croatia where she grew up with her siblings Dominic and Maria. She migrated to New Jersey in 1968 where she met Bruno Rerecich, her future husband. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, celebrated with family and friends. Together, they raised two children, Antoinette and John. For many years, Antonia was a seamstress working at home. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed gardening and growing her own food. She loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with family at the Jersey shore and occasional trips with her husband. Services to celebrate Antonia’s life will take place with visiting hours on Thursday, August 22nd from 4-8 PM at the Konopka Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, August 23rd at 10:30 AM. After mass, we will take Antonia to her final resting place at Madonna Mausoleum for entombment at 11:45 AM.
