Anna Mirkovic (nee Picinich), Age 91 of Hoboken, NJ passed away on September 1, 2023. Devoted Wife of the late Bernardo. Beloved Mother of Elena Picinic (Jure) and Carmen. Dear Sister of Nikola Picinich (Maria),Sergio Picinich and the late Giovanni Picinich and Martino Picinich. Loving grand mother of Jessica Mahtaban, Michael Mirkovic, Meagan Mirkovic and Matthew Mirkovic. Cherished great-grandmother of Jacob and Julia Mahtaban.
Anna was born in Susak, Croatia on March 5,1932 to the late Nikola Picinich and Anna Picinich and came to the US 64 years ago and lived her whole life in Hoboken. She was a retired seamstress and belonged to the Croatian Rosary Society at St John's Nep Church, Guttenberg. She loved to bake and play Tombula (Bingo) on Sunday.
Visiting Hours on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Paliade Ave, North Bergen, N J. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11 AM at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
