Lorraine Dolores Lebet of North Bergen, New Jersey passed away at the age of 81 on Monday, August 21st, 2023. Lorraine was born February 5th, 1942 to Kathleen and Arthur Protin. She was raised in Union City, New Jersey with her brother, Jimmy. They grew up in close proximity to their Aunt Angie, Uncle Ambrose, and cousins. Lorraine was particularly close with her cousin, Adrienne, a valued friendship she maintained her entire adult life. She married Robert Lebet on September 1st, 1967. They enjoyed almost 56 years in a loving, supportive, and devoted marriage. Together, they have two children, Michael and Suzanne. Throughout her life, Lorraine enjoyed many hobbies including baking, needle point stitching, seasonal decorating, and collecting anything and everything pig related. She loved chrysanthemums, mystery novels, and spending time walking in her neighborhood. Most of all, she loved her family and was dedicated to spending her time with them. Lorraine is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert, their children Michael, and Suzanne Johnson, daughter-in-law, Lanna Lebet, née Marinaccio, son-in-law, Mark Johnson, four grandchildren: Abigail, Michael, Megan, Matthew, and his fiancée, Amanda, brother Jimmy, and her close cousin, and friend, Adrienne Prester. There will be a service held on Thursday, August 24th, 3-6pm at Konopka Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
