Obituary of Jane Krajewski

Jane Krajewski (née Mioduszewski) age 97, resident of Barnegat NJ, formerly of Fairview, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Devoted wife of 72 years to the late Stanley (2017). Devoted Mother of Stanley (Barbara), James, Janet and Richard (Carla) and the late Carl Francis. Loving Grandmother of Julie, Maria, James (Magdelana), Katie (Dave), Kristen and Jennifer (Adam). Great grandmother of Alexander. Predeceased by her dear siblings Bertha Wengiel, Wally Mioduszewski, Ted Meadows, Stephanie Najdzin, Millie Muller and Ed Meadows. Survived and loved by many nieces and nephews. Born in Shadyside, North Bergen NJ on December 12, 1925 to the late Leon and Saturnia (née Zalewski) Mioduszewski. She lived in Cliffside Park and Fairview NJ for over 75 years before retiring to Barnegat NJ in 2008. Jane loved going to the casino with her husband, old movies, romantic music and so much more. A fabulous homemaker who especially enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends. She was friendly with a great sense of humor and a kind word for all. She enjoyed vacationing with her family including summer beach trips, cruises to the Caribbean, touring Europe and transatlantic adventures on the QE2 and the supersonic Concorde jet. One of her favorite experiences was an extended trip to Poland, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Her passing has left a huge void in our family and she will be missed beyond what words can express. However, we will always treasure the wonderful memories of the truly special person we called Mom. Visiting hours will be held at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave., North Bergen on Thursday, June 15 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Epiphany R.C. Church, in Cliffside Park on Friday, June 16 at 9:30 am with interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
