I will always remember Dennis as a good friend,We went to Our Lady of Libera and then Memorial. I loved to hear him sing! He played at our Wedding (Zullo- Cooney) at the Madison Mannor on 60th Street in West New York in 1974.. I pray for the family. Dennis was a great guy, RIP

Dennis was so charismatic he would light up a room. He always made everyone feel comfortable. I enjoyed traipsing from place to place to watch him perform. He had a huge personality and loved people. I made sauce tonight and I regret you never got to taste it. I know you are enjoying a nice Sunday dinner in the great beyond. I love you and miss you so much. My favorite memories of us include - Friday night game nights, making science fair projects, Begonias!, watching Indiana Jones movies, you scaring the daylights out of my friends at my 13th birthday sleepover, “I’m what’s happening!,” touring The Whaley House together, singing at my wedding, the first time you met Leo, and just a few weeks ago when you met Lana and Luke. I wish you had more time with them. But know that I will keep your memory on. I will sing to your grandbabies, make them laugh, worry about them every minute, make sure they are overfed, and most of all are loved unconditionally, as you did with me. Rest peacefull Daddy. I played w Dennis back in the 80s. He was truly a beautiful soul. I cannot imagine your grief at this time but I can say that I was stricken when I heard the news. I'll remember him for his love of music, you and his baby girl all of which he spoke of often and with love. My sincerest condolences, love and hugs to all of the family of Dennis. When I met Dennis many years ago, I remember Lorraine and I going to see him play at a number of places in New Jersey. I always enjoyed listening to him and his band. My dear friend Lorraine and Dennis married and brought a beautiful girl into this world Jillian. Who I had the privilege of knowing since she was an infant. Jillian is smart, Beautiful and a wonderful mom to three precious children. Dennis’s legacy And Lorraine’s legacy will live on through these beautiful children. I know Dennis will be shining down and watching over all of you. Jillian is not only blessed with an incredible mom but a fabulous stepmom Valerie.

My heart will be heavy for the rest of my life at the loss of my brother. One of the kindest and most gentle people I had the privilege of growing up with. My Daughter referred to him as a big teddy bear. Although we were 5-1/2 years apart we remained close through the years. Anyone I ever met who knew him had only positive words about his personality and friendly demeaner making you feel like you knew him all your life.
He had many talents including his art abilities as an embroidery designer, a successful salesman with a magnetic personality and of course his real passion for music on the stage. When he held that microphone in his hand and began to sing he was on top of the world and in complete control.
He had some tough breaks during his lifetime but he managed to work through them with the help of Valerie who stood by him through the years and for that I'm grateful. I only wish we could have spent more time together before he departed from this life. I'm certain by now he is already on the heavenly stage singing MY WAY for our Mother.
His illness intensified in recent years and he became weakened by a decreased quality in life and lost his will to go on.
My brother may no longer be by my side but he will always be in my heart.
Death ends a life not a relationship.
I love you and will miss you for the rest of my days.
