Obituary of Richard Luke Heymer

Richard Luke Heymer, Age 64 of Hernando, Florida passed away on June 30, 2021. Devoted Husband of Lorraine (nee Zakrzewski). Beloved Father of the late Christopher (1983). Also surviving are 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Loving Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was born on November 3, 1956 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Richard L Heymer and Doris Jane Peters and lived in Fairview, NJ, Keansburg, NJ and Belford, NJ before moving to Hernando, FLorida 10 years ago. He was a retired carpenter for NJ Carpenters Local 6, Hudson County and was a volunteer firemen in Keansburg, NJ and volunteered at the Gulf to Lake Church, Crystal River, Florida. Rich loved to cook and be with family and friends. He had a gift of gab and was a people magnet, and also enjoyed cruises, and during the pandemic R.V.Ing. Visiting hours on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Masks are required. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 14 2021 at Epiphany Church, 247 Knox Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at St Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Gulf to Lake Church, Crystal River, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Gulf to the Lake Church, Crystal River, Florida at 11:00 AM.
