Anthony Daniel Genero, (Tony) Age 100 of Fairview, NJ passed away on December 19, 2020 Beloved Husband of the late Muriel Agnes (nee Riehman) 2000. Devoted father of Cathy Peterson (late Craig Peterson) 2017. Dear Brother of the late Fay, Clara Genaro, Mildred Ribado, Natalie Farley and Marie Acierno. Loving Grandfather of Anthony Peterson (Paulina). Cherished great-grand father of Daxton Peterson. Tony was born on June 9, 1920 to the late Frank Genaro and Concetta (nee Sepe) and was a life long resident of Fairview. He was the retired owner of Genaro’s Bakery in Fairview, and was a graduate of Steven's Tech. in Hoboken with a degree in electrical engineering and was the first in his family to receive a college degree. Visiting Hours on Wednesday December 23, 2020 from 9 to 11 AM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen,NJ with no more than 50 people at one time. Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview. Interment to follow at Fairview, Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.
