Obituary of Henry Ehlen

Henry Ehlen Age 87 of Fairview, N J passed away on January 26, 2020. Henry was born in Horneburg, Germany on September 3, 1932 to the late Heinrich and Maria (nee Dankers) Ehlen and immigrated to the United States in 1951. Henry worked as a container repairman for 25 years for the ILA and was also an active member for several German Organizations and was Co-Chairman of the North German Society Blood Bank which he proudly donated many gallons of blood. Surviving is his wife June (nee Kovacs) of 63 beautiful years, Daughters Diane Tolomeo, Carol Ehlen, Lorraine Dillon (Dominic), Grandaughter Nicole Tolomeo. Predeceased by his brother Werner and Sister Helga. Family and Friends are welcome to celebrate Henry's Life at the Joseph Z Konopka Funeral home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at ALZ.org.
