I just learned of Dorothy's passing today. I worked with her at the CMHC in Hoboken and am saddened to hear of her passing. I wish I had known earlier, I would have attended her services and paid tribute to a wonderful woman. When I was hired at the CMHC, fresh out of college, Dorothy was already working part-time and got a kick out of trying to make me think she was strict and intimidating, but I quickly saw the warm and caring person she really was. She always brought in treats for all of the staff. Danishes and Irish soda bread in the file room were a sign that she was in to work that day.
I am so sorry for your family's loss and know that Dorothy was loved and will be missed among her former co-workers!
