Obituary of Vincent Joseph DeFrancis

Vincent Joseph “Chicky” De Francis, Age 89 of Cliffside Park passed away on September 26, 2019. Devoted Son of the late Joseph DeFrancis and Amela  (née DeMotta). Beloved Brother of Loving Sister and caregiver Anette Brignola and his other siblings, Mario DecFrancis, Michael De Francis and Barbara Mondello. Loving Uncle to many,many,many Nieces and Nephews and great Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews and great-great Nieces and Nephews.

Chicky was born on September 12, 1930 in Manhattan, NY and moved to New Jersey living in North Bergen for over 50 years and Cliffside Park for the last 5 years. Everyone in the neighborhood new him and loved him.. He was a comedian who lived to make people laugh and put smiles on their faces. He was a North Bergen Legend and will be missed by all, Rest In Peace.

Visiting Hours on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen,NJ. A Catholic Prayer Service will take place during Visiting Hours. Funeral Tuesday at 9:30AM at the Funeral Home. Interment in the family plot at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
