Obituary of Jean K Machofsky

Jean K Machofsky (née Hubing), Age 84, of North Bergen,NJ passed away on June 7, 2018.  Devoted Wife of the late John (1982).Beloved Daughter of the late George and Elsie (née Jahn) Hubing.  Loving Niece of Lieselotte Jahn.  Dear Cousin to Katharina Trainor (Tom), Hans Jahn (Paggy) and Marjorie  Wimberley. Devoted Longtime Friend to Marion Barry.

Jean was born in New York City and lived in North Bergen for 80 years. She worked at the North Bergen Public Library and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #2648 McDowell Post, North Bergen.  She was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Bergenline Corp.

Visiting Hours on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10 to 12PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen. Funeral Service at 12Noon. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.  In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the Shriner’s International.
