Obituary of William Fernandez

William “Rocky” Fernandez, Age 79, of Cliffside Park,NJ passed away on March 11, 2018.  Beloved Husband of Carol  (née Collier). Devoted Father of Christina Cancian (Anthony), and Doreen Iafelice ( Nickolas).  Dear Brother of Irma Acosta (Edwin), Luz Fernandez, Brunilda Fernandez, David Fernandez,Magdalena Piep Luisi (Al) and the late Luis, Carmen Velasquez, Edwardo and Sandra Fernandez .Loving Grandfather of Patrick and Alexander Cancian and Nickolas and Michael Iafelice.

William was born on October 12, 1938 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Candida Rosa ( née Soto) Fernandez.  He retired as a plant manager for Robert Shankman, Garfield, NJ and lived in Cliffside Park for 44 years and served his Country in the Army.

Visiting Hours on Tuesday from 5 to 9 pm at Konopka Funeral Home ,9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 9034 Barr Place, N Bergen,NJ. Private Cremation.
