She eventually married a life long family friend Peter F. Gallina in 1961. They moved up to Cliffside Park, NJ to start a life and family together. Shirley was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and wife who devoted her life to tending and loving her family. Anyone who met her would know that her three children, Helen, Michael, and Paul, were her proudest accomplishments. She stayed at home to nurture and love her children that her life revolved around. Her support for her children was eternal and only grew with the arrival of grandchildren.
